EU issued a new directive passed to force Apple to change iPhone battery design
Oct. 8 news, the EU is considering requiring all cell phone battery must be able to be easily replaced. This requirement may cause Apple iPhone cell phone problem.
AppleInsider site found that the British trade publication the "new electronic" to an article published in the European Union is considering a number of regulations on the computer industry. A few years ago with the enforcement of RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) Directive requires the computer industry in the production process to cancel harmful chemicals and / or hazardous materials, the EU is considering taking on a new battery directive.
The new battery directive will require manufacturers to ensure that they are easy to replace the battery, or by sliding the battery compartment cover or by removing a few screws can be replaced. Of course, iPhone and the iPod does not fit this requirement. Apple requires users to Apple's iPhone and the iPod to replace the battery.
